Dr. Iman S. Labib received her D.M.D. Certificate of Advanced Studies in Endodontics, and Master of Science in Dentistry from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She lectured on her research study titled “Allerginicity of gutta-percha and the potential sensitization from latex products.” Her training has
covered all advanced aspects conventional and surgical endodontics including the use of high-tech instruments and the microscope.
For the past few years, Dr. Labib had been a clinical instructor in the Department of Endodontics at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine on both pre-doctoral and post-doctoral levels. Along with her colleagues at Boston Endodontics, she presented a one-day continuing education course at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in March 2005 called “Cutting Edge Endodontics.”
Dr. Labib is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Association of Endodontists. She is also a fellow of International College of Dentists. She served as past president of the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists and past president of the Boston University Endodontic Alumni Association. Dr. Labib joined Boston Endodontics in 2001, and has been in private practice since 1989 after receiving her B.D.S. and Higher Dental Diploma in endodontics and restorative dentistry from Cairo University in 1989 and 1992 respectively.
